This role supports construction and engineering teams by developing accurate shop drawings, maintaining updated BIM models, and ensuring alignment between design and site execution. It plays a key role in delivering high-quality drawings that meet regulatory, safety, and project standards.Key Responsibilities
- Develop 2D engineering drawings from 3D models including shop drawings and submission drawings
- Extract detailed drawings from Revit models and maintain up-to-date BIM data
- Coordinate with architectural, structural, and MEP drawings to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Prepare drawings for authority approvals including DEWA, DM, and DCD submissions
- Conduct site visits and coordinate with site teams to align drawings with project requirements
- Review and validate drawings for accuracy, coordination, and compliance with standards
- Maintain CAD standards, drawing documentation, and filing systems
- Monitor workload and ensure timely delivery of drawings for projects
- Support team members and assist in development of draughting staff
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental procedures
- Diploma in Architecture, Civil, Structural, or MEP Engineering
- Minimum 10 years of experience in construction draughting and BIM coordination
- Strong expertise in AutoCAD and Revit software
- Experience in concrete reinforcement detailing and multidisciplinary coordination
- Ability to manage multiple drawing packages and meet project deadlines
- Strong communication and coordination skills with site and engineering teams
