We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced CFO for a leading insurance company in Dubai.The ideal candidate will be a finance professional with a strong insurance background, well-versed in UAE Central Bank regulations, and capable of providing strategic financial leadership, ensuring regulatory compliance, and driving sustainable growth.Key Responsibilities:Strategic Financial Leadership
  • Develop and execute the company's financial strategy aligned with business objectives.
  • Provide financial insights and guidance to the CEO and Board for strategic decision-making.
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning for insurance operations.
Financial Management & Reporting
  • Oversee accounting, finance, treasury, and reporting functions.
  • Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with IFRS and regulatory standards.
  • Monitor financial performance, profitability, and key financial KPIs.
  • Support product and pricing strategies through robust financial analysis.
Regulatory Compliance & Central Bank Liaison
  • Serve as the primary liaison with the UAE Central Bank and other regulatory authorities.
  • Ensure compliance with Central Bank regulations for insurance operations, licensing requirements, and corporate governance.
  • Prepare and submit regulatory reports, including solvency and risk-related submissions.
  • Maintain strong internal controls, risk management frameworks, and governance structures.
Leadership & Stakeholder Management
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance team.
  • Build strong relationships with regulators, investors, and key internal and external stakeholders.
  • Provide financial and regulatory guidance to support business expansion, mergers, or acquisitions.
Qualifications:
  • Professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CPA, CIMA, or equivalent) - mandatory.
  • MBA or Master's in Finance/Accounting preferred.
  • Minimum 12-15 years of progressive finance experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role within insurance or financial services.
  • Strong experience dealing with the UAE Central Bank and understanding of insurance regulations.
  • Deep knowledge of IFRS, risk management, solvency, and corporate governance.

  • Strategic thinker with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong leadership, team management, and stakeholder communication capabilities.
  • Commercial acumen with the ability to link financial strategy to business performance.
  • Hands-on experience implementing governance and compliance frameworks in a regulated environment.
