Unleash your talent and redefine what’s possible.Job Description:Resident Engineer - O&M Parks and InfrastructureAbu Dhabi, Al Dhafrah region, UAEParsons is looking for an amazingly talented Resident Engineer - O&M Parks and Infrastructure to join our team! In this role you will get to provide guidance to contractors regarding schedule, procedures, the scope of work and other information requirements.What You'll Be Doing:Ensure compliance with Al Dhafrah region muncipliaty/DMT standards across all citiesApprove contractor reports and technical submissionsValidate daily logs, manpower, equipment, and progress dataPrepare daily, weekly, and monthly performance reportsMonitor KPI results and verify dashboard accuracyLead internal and external audits and verify documentationApprove Work Order closures with evidenceEscalate delays, technical issues, and safety risksCoordinate with municipal departmentsReview and approve asset updates in OsoolProvides guidance to contractors regarding schedule, procedures, the scope of work and other information requirements.Plans and organizes monitoring of the contractor’s activities.Provides technical guidance in interpretation of specifications.Reviews job plans, methods, equipment, staffing and productivity and detects potential problems in conforming with approved design drawings or specifications.Reviews problems with the contractor to determine whether actions proposed are adequate for resolution.Reviews submitted construction, quality assurance, and other procedures, and obtains necessary approvals.Coordinates with other departments to obtain required support.Coordinates interfaces between contractors and construction management staff where the project has impacts on other projects.Reviews conflicts in schedules and coordinates tie-ins of facilities where applicable, witness testing/commissioning of piping and equipment’sRecommends approval of schedule changes in the sequence of construction activities.Compiles technical data to prepare weekly and monthly reports on project progress and quality control. Conducts or directs facts finding investigations and advises Client PM on problems in meeting schedule or specificationsAssists in administration functions and initiates correspondence to contractors and other departmentsReviews and verifies that items submitted for billing on Work Estimates are justifiedDetermines the percentage of work completed and recommends payment as appropriateAdvises contractor when implemented work is not acceptable or of necessary corrective action or additional documentation requiredAssists in coordinating the compilation of relevant documentation and the determination of actual events and situations causing contract delays and/or claims, and in evaluating the validity of claimsWhat Required Skills You'll Bring:B.Sc. Degree in Engineering with a minimum of 15 years of O&M experiences or 12 years and certified project management certificate)
