- Manage the fleet consisting of buses, cars/SUV's and pickup trucks.
- Manage the team members consisting of assistants and drivers.
- Manage the relationship with the external coach company that serves the routes for students to local train stations and surrounding Emirates.
- Schedule drivers for the University routes and ad-hoc requirements involving fleet vehicles.
- Maintain records of vehicle use and maintenance and conduct regular safety inspections to ensure vehicles are in good working order.
- Ensure compliance to all internal policies relating to vehicle maintenance, fuel efficiency and other driving practices.
- Maintaining safety standards for drivers, passengers and pedestrians
- Communicating with end users, drivers and the external service provider to ensure accurate information is provided.
- Support students and faculty with any ticket queries and disputes.
- Professional certification in logistics and transport
- Minimum 5 years' experience in Transport/fleet management, with 3 years at a supervisory level
- Computer literacy
- At least 3 years' experience gulf region
- Experience in reporting and data analysis
- Managing a diverse team
