Language: Arabic speaking preferredCore ResponsibilitiesBusiness Intelligence & Reporting * Gather and translate business requirements into KPIs, metrics, and reporting specifications.
- Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, and scorecards aligned with business objectives.
- Build and maintain semantic models / datasets (Power BI dataset, star schema) to ensure scalable reporting.
- Create automated, scheduled reporting where appropriate and ensure reports are accessible, consistent, and user-friendly.
- Develop and optimize DAX measures and calculations to support accurate insights.
- Maintain a consistent metric definition (single source of truth) and support master data consistency where applicable.
- Document datasets, KPI definitions, report logic, refresh schedules, and data lineage to support auditability and continuity.
- Apply appropriate data access controls and follow internal policies for confidentiality and information security.
- Identify opportunities to standardize and streamline recurring reports and reduce manual reporting effort.
- Conduct basic user enablement sessions (how to read dashboards, filters, drill-through, export options).
- Coordinate with IT / data owners / vendors as needed for data access, source stability, and refresh reliability.
- Conduct workshops/interviews to elicit and clarify requirements, definitions of KPIs, and data sources.
- Translate business needs into clear functional requirements and acceptance criteria for reporting solutions.
- Prepare and maintain Business Requirements Documents (BRDs) and supporting artifacts.
- Plan, coordinate, and moderate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with business users.
- Support the business during UAT, resolving misunderstandings, and ensuring acceptance criteria are met.
- Gather feedback post-release and prioritize enhancements in coordination with the reporting manager.
- MIS/BI tasks as assigned, in line with organizational priorities.
- Maintain high proficiency in required competencies and keep up to date with BI best practices and emerging analytics capabilities.
- Demonstrate ownership, accuracy, and professionalism in all deliverables and stakeholder interactions.
