Job DescriptionThe jobholder is responsible for the installation, administration and maintenance of server hardware, OperatingSystems and virtual infrastructure. Deliver the new Infrastructure requirements by following the agile methodologies by working in squads. The job also includes the Administration of Infrastructure applications, Backup & storage infrastructure, managing high availability and security for Main and DR site in accordance with bank's IT Quality policy, security policy and regulations.Install, configure, monitor and maintain server hardware, operating systems, virtual infrastructure and cluster systemsAnalyses, diagnoses, and resolves problems associated with server hardware, operating systems,Coordinates with vendor software or hardware support to resolve system problems.Designs, implements, and perform OS hardeningUpgrade server hardware, infrastructure software, and operating systems.Manage and administrate Public, Private and Hybrid cloud technologies.Provide L3 technical support services to RTB team for OS, Servers, Clusters, and Storages as requested.Provide trend analyses to make informed decisions regarding resource managementPerform shell scripting or other basic scripting tasksAnalyze and verify the requirements for completeness, consistency, comprehensibility, feasibility and as per the standards.Identifying and analyzing processes, procedures, work practice and document them for standard operations.Coordinate with Project teams and deliver the server environments by following Agile methodologiesWork in Squads and coordinate with Squad leads to meet the requirements as per agreed timelines.Participating in Project meetings to discuss project/ tasks status, any related concerns, remediation and other.Working as a team member with different project teams, technical teams and IT architecture team to formulate and document project architectural requirements.Recording and maintaining inventory for servers’ infrastructure and licenses.Taking responsibilities of implementation of Solutions and Systems along with test plans to ensure quality and integrity of the solution.Providing support and liaising with different IT sections for a service continuity/business continuity with disaster recovery availability based on the Bank’s policy.Providing audit/IS queries input, closure and evidences in coordination with IT QA team in a timely manner.All the above accountabilities includes but not limited to any additional/new tasks or responsibilities assigned by the line ManagerCompetencies/SkillsEducationMin Bachelor degree in computer Science or equivalentWork ExperienceMinimum 5 years of experience.
