Job Description:Job Purpose:To support the SVP Legal of Logistics by assisting in a range of assignments, including the drafting and negotiating of contracts (NDAs, logistics agreements) and policy documents, corporate housekeeping (board and shareholder resolutions, company records) and administrative matters.Key Accountabilities:Provide effective, reliable and user-friendly support, advice and assistance to senior managers within DP World Logistics on legal matters affecting any aspect of DP World Logistics' business.Review and draft legal documents relevant for logistics business (NDA, Agency Agreements etc.) ensuring that legal requirements are met within such documents.Provide effective reporting to the SVP Legal - Global Logistics.Understand and adhere to DP World's Code of Conduct Policy.Promote and demonstrate positive behaviours in harmony with DP World's values and culture.Perform other related duties as assigned.The job holder is required to provide reliable, commercially focused general advice in respect of legal queries or issues that may be raised for the logistics business, in an efficient and effective manner.Qualifications, Experience and Skills:Law Degree from an accredited university.Qualification to practice law from a recognised legal regulatory body.Minimum 1 year's post qualification experience in an internationally recognised law firm and/ or multinational company. Preferably experience working in the Middle East regionKnowledge of basic corporate and commercial law.Commercial awareness and understanding of business needs (including awareness and sensitivity to differing international legal and cultural business practices, and the flexibility to work within different cultural environments).Excellent analytical and organisational skills.Good communication and inter-personal skills.About Us:Trade is the lifeblood of the global economy, creating opportunities and improving the quality of life for people around the world.
