- Develop and implement a comprehensive people strategy tailored to the specific needs and challenges of the Middle East & Africa region.
- Lead the recruitment and talent acquisition efforts, ensuring a diverse and qualified talent pipeline to meet current and future business needs.
- Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives to foster a workplace culture that celebrates differences and promotes belonging.
- Collaborate with regional and global stakeholders to design and deliver innovative learning and development programs that enhance employee skills and capabilities.
- Drive employee engagement initiatives, including employee surveys, feedback mechanisms, and recognition programs to promote a positive work environment.
- Partner with business leaders to identify performance gaps and develop strategies to improve organizational effectiveness and employee performance.
- Ensure compliance with local labor laws and regulations while upholding the company's ethical standards and values.
- Provide coaching and guidance to regional HR teams to build their capabilities and empower them to deliver exceptional HR services.
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on people-related matters, providing insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.
- Monitor and analyze HR metrics and trends to identify opportunities for continuous improvement and drive data-driven decision-making.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Proven experience (10+ years) in a senior HR leadership role, preferably within a multinational corporation operating in the Middle East & Africa region.
- In-depth knowledge of local labor laws and regulations across the Middle East & Africa region.
- Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to translate business goals into actionable HR initiatives.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Demonstrated track record of driving organizational change and building high-performing teams in a diverse cultural environment.
- Fluency in English is required, proficiency in Arabic or other languages spoken in the region is a plus.
- Professional certifications such as SHRM-SCP, SPHR, or CIPD are highly desirable.
