As the Regional People & Culture Director for the Middle East & Africa, you will be responsible for shaping and executing the people strategy in alignment with the company's overall objectives. Reporting directly to the AMESA Head of People & Culture, you will play a pivotal role in driving employee engagement, talent management, and organizational development initiatives across diverse geographies and cultures.What You'll be Doing…
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive people strategy tailored to the specific needs and challenges of the Middle East & Africa region.
  • Lead the recruitment and talent acquisition efforts, ensuring a diverse and qualified talent pipeline to meet current and future business needs.
  • Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives to foster a workplace culture that celebrates differences and promotes belonging.
  • Collaborate with regional and global stakeholders to design and deliver innovative learning and development programs that enhance employee skills and capabilities.
  • Drive employee engagement initiatives, including employee surveys, feedback mechanisms, and recognition programs to promote a positive work environment.
  • Partner with business leaders to identify performance gaps and develop strategies to improve organizational effectiveness and employee performance.
  • Ensure compliance with local labor laws and regulations while upholding the company's ethical standards and values.
  • Provide coaching and guidance to regional HR teams to build their capabilities and empower them to deliver exceptional HR services.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on people-related matters, providing insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.
  • Monitor and analyze HR metrics and trends to identify opportunities for continuous improvement and drive data-driven decision-making.
Who You Are…
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Proven experience (10+ years) in a senior HR leadership role, preferably within a multinational corporation operating in the Middle East & Africa region.
  • In-depth knowledge of local labor laws and regulations across the Middle East & Africa region.
  • Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to translate business goals into actionable HR initiatives.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Demonstrated track record of driving organizational change and building high-performing teams in a diverse cultural environment.
  • Fluency in English is required, proficiency in Arabic or other languages spoken in the region is a plus.
  • Professional certifications such as SHRM-SCP, SPHR, or CIPD are highly desirable.
