Job DescriptionTo manage, coordinate, and overseeing the activities of IT Operations for 24 x 7 availability; determining all Operators work schedules to insure coverage to meet the service requirements for business areasSupport IT Production Team and its activities and ensure that all services are available and production incidents are resolved within agreed timelines.Support to meet department productivity and quality goals.Coordinate and implement solutions from process analysis and general department projects.Support staff scheduling to include: work assignments/rotations, employee training, employee vacations, employee breaks, back-up for absent employees, and shift rotations.Assist staff to resolve complex or out of policy operation problems.Schedule and conduct department meetings.Apply technical knowledge and interpersonal skills and tools and techniques to meet the IT Operation requirements.To communicate regularly with the other IT department units regarding the status of current issues and support them to resolve the same.To prepare, provide and maintain management reports as required by ManagementTo perform department administrative work as assignedTo automate the manual jobsManaging System Administrator activities for core banking in Production.Managing Database Administrator activities for core banking in Application.All the above accountabilities includes but not limited to any additional/new tasks or responsibilities assigned by the line Manager.Competencies/SkillsEducationBachelor of engineering / Diploma in computer or equivalentWork ExperienceMinimum 6 years of experience.
