Civil Engineer - Parsons Corporation - Dubai, UAE

• Direct site supervision for roads, infrastructure, and dry utility works in accordance with approved drawings and specifications
• Coordinate daily activities with the Resident Engineer to maintain consistency and construction integrity
• Review shop drawings, design proposals, method statements, material submittals, and RFIs related to road and utility works
• Maintain daily diaries and reports for site activities and supervise reporting by site teams
• Coordinate with the contractor on scheduling and effective deployment of resources
• Lead and monitor the performance of site engineers, inspectors, and surveyors
• Coordinate with the Resident Engineer, contractors, and relevant authorities on approvals and site issues
• Supervise, review, and report progress of road and associated works
• Liaise with stakeholders to ensure site safety and quality objectives are met
• Attend regular site meetings related to roadworks and utilities
• Ensure timely exchange of correspondence, approvals, and accurate record keeping
• Enforce safety procedures, participate in health and safety initiatives, and ensure compliance with risk management requirements
• Provide on-site technical direction for roadworks, utilities, and related activities
• Measure completed works, track progress against program, and prepare progress reports
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of as-built drawings within the discipline scope

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
• Minimum 10 years of post-graduate experience in site supervision and construction management of infrastructure and dry utilities projects
• Proven experience supervising major infrastructure works, preferably within the Gulf region
• Strong capability in reviewing material submissions, technical reports, and acceptance testing
• Fully computer literate with experience using engineering and construction management software
