- Install electrical systems, including wiring, lighting, power outlets, distribution boards, and circuit breakers.
- Install and maintain control panels, electrical connections, and low-voltage systems.
- Lay electrical conduits and pull wires in compliance with project specifications and local codes.
- Shall guide and manage the electrical helpers and train them for all necessary works.
- Diagnose electrical issues in systems, including power failures, circuit issues, and faulty wiring.
- Repair, replace, and maintain electrical components such as switches, breakers, and transformers.
- Perform regular inspections and maintenance on electrical systems to ensure they are operating safely and efficiently.
- Conduct electrical tests to ensure that installations meet safety standards, project specifications, and operational efficiency.
- Test and calibrate electrical equipment to verify proper operation and address any discrepancies.
- Connect wiring to circuits, outlets, panels, and equipment as per the technical drawings and blueprints.
- Ensure all electrical connections are secure, properly insulated, and free of defects.
- Adhere to all electrical codes, safety standards, and regulations while performing electrical work.
- Follow safety protocols to avoid electrical hazards and ensure a safe working environment.
- Diploma or higher in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of hands-on experience in electrical installation, commissioning, and maintenance, with at least 2-3 years in a senior/lead role.
- Strong experience with low voltage, medium voltage, and power distribution systems, as well as lighting systems.
- Experience working on construction sites and commercial projects is preferred.
- Electrical Installations & Maintenance - Proficient in installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems, including wiring, lighting, power distribution systems, and circuit breakers for commercial, residential, or industrial facilities.
- Electrical Troubleshooting - Skilled in diagnosing and repairing electrical faults, such as short circuits, faulty wiring, or equipment malfunctions, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of systems.
- Panel Wiring & Assembly - Expertise in wiring and assembling electrical control panels, ensuring all connections are made correctly and safely to support system functionality.
- Reading Electrical Diagrams - Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical schematics, blueprints, and wiring diagrams to ensure proper installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical systems.
- Power Distribution Systems - Knowledge of power distribution systems, including transformers, switchboards, and distribution boards, ensuring they operate safely and efficiently.
- Testing & Inspection - Skilled in performing routine inspections and testing of electrical circuits and systems, including using multimeters, testers, and oscilloscopes to ensure compliance with safety standards and operational efficiency.
- Preventive Maintenance - Ability to perform preventive maintenance on electrical systems to avoid future breakdowns and optimize system performance, including routine checks on wiring, lighting, and equipment.
- Motors & Electrical Equipment - Expertise in working with motors, generators, transformers, and other electrical equipment, performing repairs, installations, and routine maintenance.
- Installation of Lighting Systems - Experience in installing lighting systems, including indoor/outdoor lights, emergency lights, LED systems, and control circuits, while ensuring proper functionality and energy efficiency.
- Circuit Protection & Safety - Proficiency in using circuit breakers, fuses, earth leakage protection, and surge protection devices to protect electrical systems from faults and ensure safe operation.
- Generators & Backup Power - Knowledge of generator installation, backup power systems, and uninterruptible power supplies (UPS), ensuring reliability and continued power supply during outages.
