  • Energy Policy & Strategy Section Head is responsible for ensuring insight, technical and methodological expertise in shaping and directing the energy-related policies and strategies within the energy sector.
In addition, the Energy Policy & Strategy Section Head is responsible for ensuring that the policies developed are in line with the Department's plans for taking forward the development of the energy sector effectively and efficiently. This includes a commitment to effectively disseminate information on energy-related matters to foster informed discussions, engagement, and decision-making.
  • Ensure the development of policies, strategies, and plans for the energy sector's code development activities.
  • Manage all regular meetings and lead the work of the Department 's decision-making group.
  • Verify success criteria, building an evaluation element into the policymaking process from the outset.
  • Disseminate information on lessons learned and good practices with the relevant stakeholders.
