- Development, monitoring, and maintenance of project cost budgets and forecasts
- Tracking project expenditures, commitments, and identifying cost variances
- Preparation of cost reports, cash flow forecasts, and project performance dashboards
- Support change management processes, including evaluation of cost and schedule impacts
- Application and understanding of Earned Value Management (EVM) principles
- Identification of cost and schedule risks and support mitigation strategies
- Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
- Ability to interpret project financial and performance data to identify trends and risks
- Accurate validation, reconciliation, and consolidation of cost and progress data
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and project controls data analysis tools
- Close coordination with project controls, planning, procurement, construction, and engineering teams
- Support Project Managers with reliable cost, progress, and forecast information for decision-making
- Timely collection and consolidation of cost and progress data from multiple stakeholders
- Interface with finance teams for invoicing, accruals, actual cost updates, and financial alignment
- Clear, concise, and accurate reporting of project cost and performance status to project and management teams
- Ability to explain variances, trends, and forecasts to non-financial stakeholders
- Strong written and verbal communication skills

- Ability to manage priorities effectively and meet reporting deadlines
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and results-driven mindset
- Adaptable to fast-paced, multi-project environments
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Finance, Cost Engineering, or a related discipline
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in project controls, cost engineering, or project cost management roles
- Proven experience on engineering, construction, energy, infrastructure, or industrial projects
- Strong proficiency in project controls and reporting tools such as SAP, Oracle, Excel, and project cost management systems
- Solid understanding of project management and project controls principles, including budgeting, forecasting, progress measurement, cost reporting, and variance analysis
- Experience in EPC, PMC, or Owner's Engineer environments is highly preferred
- Professional certifications such as AACE (CCP), PMP, or other project controls / cost engineering credentials are an advantage
