- Clean all food preparation areas based on the set standards of hygiene
- Wash and appropriately store all cooking appliances, instruments, utensils, dishes etc as necessary
- Sweep and mop the kitchen floors as required
- Assist with unloading delivered food supplies
- Arrange and correctly store food supplies
- Assist the cook with preparation of meal ingredients
- Undertake an other related tasks as ma be required
- Proven experience assisting in kitchens required
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Strong knowledge of food health and safety regulations
- Ability to work in a team
- Good communication skills required
