Job Type: Full-timeKey Responsibilities
  • Support senior engineers in delivering coastal and marine engineering design assignments
  • Assist in hydrodynamic, sediment transport, and wave modelling studies
  • Contribute to the design of breakwaters, revetments, groynes, artificial beaches, quay walls, jetties, and sheet pile structures
  • Perform engineering calculations and technical assessments under supervision
  • Prepare reports, technical notes, drawings, Bills of Quantities, and specifications
  • Assist in identifying and resolving discrepancies in modelling and design outputs
  • Support preparation of proposals, cost estimates, and tender documentation
  • Liaise with modelling specialists, multidisciplinary engineers, and clients
  • Ensure adherence to quality control procedures and project timelines
Ideal Profile
  • Bachelor's degree in Coastal and Marine Engineering, Civil Engineering, or Structural Engineering
  • Master's degree preferred
  • Minimum 2 to 3 years of experience in coastal and marine engineering consultancy
  • Familiarity with Middle East coastal projects considered an advantage
  • Knowledge of coastal modelling tools such as MIKE 21, SWAN, Delft 3D, SBEACH
  • Experience with structural design tools including STAAD Pro, Tekla, SAP, GEO5
  • Understanding of The Rock Manual, British Standards, and Eurocodes
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
