Job Type: Full-timeKey Responsibilities
- Support senior engineers in delivering coastal and marine engineering design assignments
- Assist in hydrodynamic, sediment transport, and wave modelling studies
- Contribute to the design of breakwaters, revetments, groynes, artificial beaches, quay walls, jetties, and sheet pile structures
- Perform engineering calculations and technical assessments under supervision
- Prepare reports, technical notes, drawings, Bills of Quantities, and specifications
- Assist in identifying and resolving discrepancies in modelling and design outputs
- Support preparation of proposals, cost estimates, and tender documentation
- Liaise with modelling specialists, multidisciplinary engineers, and clients
- Ensure adherence to quality control procedures and project timelines
- Bachelor's degree in Coastal and Marine Engineering, Civil Engineering, or Structural Engineering
- Master's degree preferred
- Minimum 2 to 3 years of experience in coastal and marine engineering consultancy
- Familiarity with Middle East coastal projects considered an advantage
- Knowledge of coastal modelling tools such as MIKE 21, SWAN, Delft 3D, SBEACH
- Experience with structural design tools including STAAD Pro, Tekla, SAP, GEO5
- Understanding of The Rock Manual, British Standards, and Eurocodes
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
