The role contributes to multidisciplinary collaboration, clinical innovation, and the advancement of endocrine oncology services.Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and manage a wide range of endocrine disorders with specialization in thyroid cancer
- Conduct clinical evaluations and interpret diagnostic imaging and biopsy results
- Oversee fine-needle aspiration procedures and related diagnostics
- Collaborate with oncology, surgery, nuclear medicine, and radiology teams
- Manage patient care throughout diagnosis, treatment, and long-term follow-up
- Provide outpatient consultations and inpatient endocrine care
- Participate in clinical audits, research, and academic initiatives
- Mentor junior physicians and support continuing education programs
- Medical degree with specialization in Endocrinology
- Board certification such as MRCP, FRCP, ABIM, EBE, or equivalent
- Fellowship or advanced training in thyroid cancer or endocrine oncology preferred
- 5-7 years of post-specialist experience with strong thyroid cancer exposure
- DHA license or eligibility as Consultant Endocrinologist
- Strong communication and patient-centered care approach
- Ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams
