- Overseeing and managing all de-shuttering operations on construction sites.
- Planning and coordinating the removal of shuttering from concrete structures.
- Ensuring that all work is carried out safely and to the highest standards.
- Training and supervising a team of de-shuttering workers.
- Ensuring that all team members have the skills and knowledge to carry out their work effectively.
- Maintaining a safe and clean working environment.
- Inspecting and maintaining deshuttering equipment and tools.
- Liaising with other construction professionals to ensure that work is carried out efficiently and effectively.
- Ensuring that all work is carried out in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Reporting any issues or concerns to the site manager. Maintaining a safe and clean work environment
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of workers to ensure operational efficiency and adherence to project specifications.
- Assign tasks to workers based on their skills and the project requirements monitoring progress and quality of work.
- Train new team members on job duties safety protocols and company policies.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Inspect equipment and materials regularly to meet safety and quality standards.
- Communicate effectively with project managers and other supervisors to coordinate work activities and resolve issues.
- Maintain accurate records of worker's attendance work performed and materials used.
- Provide feedback and recommendations to management on workflow worker performance and potential improvements.
- Handle minor disciplinary issues among workers promoting a positive and productive work environment.
- Ensure your competent and skill-based certificates are valid and communicate with the supervisor if getting expired.
- Take reasonable care for the health and safety of himself/herself and others who may be affected by their acts or omissions
- Cooperate with anything the employer does to comply with OHS requirements.
- Comply with HSE requirements communicated in HSE induction, Procedures, and policies.
- Lead as an example in front of workers by not violating any rules and correcting unsafe actions and conditions.
- Attend Group Safety Meetings, HSE Campaigns & committee meetings as and when required.
- Report unsafe acts and conditions to the HSE dept. using Intelex or booklets provided to you and monitor your targets and KPIs.
- Do not carry out any task if you are not trained or authorized to do so, and make sure the workers working under you are following the same.
- Participate in weekly or monthly HSE walkthroughs with your area HSE staff as per the plans.

- Proven experience in a similar role within the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of de-shuttering processes and techniques.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- High level of physical fitness.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, challenging environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure.
- Good understanding of health and safety regulations within the construction industry.
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and blueprints.
- Minimum 3 years related experience
- At least 7 years of experience
- Skilled in specific trade supervision.
- Proven experience in a similar supervisory role within the construction or manufacturing sectors.
- Knowledge of industry safety standards regulations and best practices.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings.
- Fluent in English
