Job DescriptionApplications are invited for the post of Research Assistant on a one-year (renewable) contract to join the research project on the application of artificial intelligence in data quality management and clinical decision Support. The project is a collaboration between The Mutaba’ah Study, Institute of Public Health, College of Medicine and Health Sciences, and the College of Information Technology, United Arab Emirates University. The position is related with the application of text mining and image mining of electronic medical records. The research assistant should have experience in in the fields of data mining, text mining, image mining, deep learning, etc. The candidate is expected to apply advanced text mining and image mining techniques on electronic medical records to extract useful information from the records. The candidate will apply data mining techniques to structured datasets to investigate given research questions. The candidate should be ready to learn new developments in the related research areas.Minimum QualificationBachelor’s degree in related area (Computer science/Computer Engineering/Information Technology/Similar Area) with two years related experience.Preferred Qualification
