Design and synthesize calix[n]arene-based covalent organic frameworks for water purification applications.
Develop organic macrocycle-containing linkers and porous framework materials.
Investigate supramolecular interactions between porous frameworks and organic water pollutants.
Apply advanced synthesis and characterization techniques including Schlenk line methods, glove box operations, powder X-ray diffraction, electron diffraction, electron microscopy, and porosity analysis.
Analyze and interpret experimental data related to material structure, performance, and contaminant removal efficiency.
Collaborate with PhD scientists, graduate students, and undergraduate researchers in a multidisciplinary research setting.
Contribute to research documentation, reports, and academic publications.Ideal Profile
PhD in Chemistry or Materials Science.
Strong experimental and synthetic background in covalent organic framework synthesis.
Solid understanding of analytical and characterization techniques for porous materials.
Experience or strong interest in applying advanced materials to water treatment and purification.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in an academic research environment.
