Lead and optimize the procurement process for power-related equipment and services, ensuring adherence to technical specifications and cost-efficiency.Conduct market research, evaluate suppliers, and manage supplier qualification to maintain a competitive and compliant supply chain.Collaborate with engineering teams to develop clear technical specifications and procurement documents.Negotiate supplier contracts focusing on cost-effectiveness, risk mitigation, and compliance monitoring.Ensure strict adherence to company policies, HSE, security, and risk management protocols in all procurement activities.Demonstrate strong leadership by managing procurement teams, fostering supplier relationships, and driving continuous improvement initiativesProfile
Minimum 6 years of relevant procurement experience in the power sector or related industries, with a strong technical understanding of power equipment and services.At least 3 years of managerial or team leadership experience, demonstrating ability to lead and develop procurement teams effectively.Proven track record of successful negotiation and contract management, delivering measurable cost savings and risk mitigation.Strong skills in supplier evaluation, market research, and supplier qualification processes.Deep knowledge of procurement policies, compliance requirements, and HSE standards relevant to supply chain operations.Excellent communication and reporting skills, capable of preparing detailed management reports and facilitating senior management decisions.Holds a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.Job OfferThis role offers the opportunity to lead strategic procurement initiatives in the dynamic power sector, driving cost savings and supplier innovation.
