Job Category: Technical Trades - DMJob Description:Dredge Mechanic for Self-Propelled Cutter Suction Dredger.Responsibilities:

Operate, monitor, and maintain main engines, auxiliary engines, pumps, compressors, and hydraulic systems on SPCSD.
Carry out routine inspections, planned maintenance, and breakdown repairs as per PMS and Chief Engineer's instructions.
Assist in operation and maintenance of dredge pumps, cutter drive systems, gearboxes, and associated machinery.
Monitor machinery parameters, alarms, and log readings during dredging and sailing operations.
Perform overhauling of engines, valves, pumps, filters, and mechanical components as required.
Ensure proper lubrication, cooling, and fuel systems functioning at all times.
Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping of engine room and machinery spaces.
Follow safety procedures, permit-to-work systems, and company HSE policies.
Assist during bunkering, engine trials, and emergency situations.
Report defects, abnormalities, and spare requirements to the Engineer Officer promptly
