We’ve got what you’re looking for.Job Description:Senior Resident EngineerAbu Dhabi, UAEParsons is looking for an amazingly talented Senior Resident Engineer.What You'll Be Doing:Managing a team to deliver Operational Maintenance requirementsWorking closely with the client to understand their needsIdentifying and reporting issues along with developing mitigation plansPlans, schedules, and supervises all field engineering activitiesExercises administrative authority over field engineering workControls and coordinates field engineering operationsPrepares construction and procurement schedulesConducts subcontract negotiationsProvides technical guidance to support construction operationsEnsures compliance with company procedures and industry best practicesWillingness to relocate to construction site locations as requiredPlans, organizes, and ensures proper staffing for all field engineering activities and support operationsOversees execution and monitors progress of field engineering workProvides guidance on scope, schedules, procedures, and technical issues related to constructionEstimates budgets and determines staffing needs based on project scope and timelineEstablishes and maintains quality control for construction engineering in the fieldCollaborates with construction management to identify and eliminate environmental, safety, and health hazardsEnsures all personnel follow safe work practices in line with site-specific procedures and industry standardsBuilds and maintains strong relationships with project design engineers, clients, and contractorsMaintains essential project documentation such as control records, design drawings, specifications, change orders, and back-charge documentsMonitors contractor performance to ensure adherence to schedules and project specificationsConducts performance evaluations for assigned team membersMakes decisions on long-term planning, scheduling, budgeting, priorities, and personnel managementAdvises management on field engineering procedures, construction methods, and financial mattersRegularly communicates with upper management and client representativesWhat Required Skills You'll Bring:Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction, or a related field, or equivalent work experience in constructionMinimum of 12 years of experience in field constructionExperience in large civil, structural, and/or industrial projects, both National and internationalWhat Desired Skills You'll Bring:An ability to build collaborative relationships to deliver successful project outcomesAn ability to work in a fast paced project environmentExcellent written and verbal communication skillsExperience in the management and delivery of operational maintenanceSome supervisory experience is desirableParsons equally employs representation at all job levels no matter the race, color, religion, sex (including pregnancy), national origin, age, disability or genetic information.We truly invest and care about our employee’s wellbeing and provide endless growth opportunities as the sky is the limit, so aim for the stars!
