- Conduct land or marine surveys to establish accurate positions, distances, elevations, and boundaries.
- Operate advanced surveying equipment, including total stations, GNSS/GPS systems, echo sounders, and multibeam survey systems.
- Collect and process hydrographic and terrestrial data for construction, dredging, infrastructure, and environmental projects.
- Prepare, review, and maintain survey drawings, charts, maps, and detailed technical reports.
- Analyse survey data using CAD, GIS, and specialized surveying and hydrographic software.
- Establish, verify, and maintain survey control points, benchmarks, and reference systems.
- Ensure all survey activities comply with regulatory, legal, and safety standards.
- Coordinate effectively with engineers, project managers, contractors, and clients to support project requirements.
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Surveying, Geomatics, Geospatial Engineering, or a related field.
- This position is also open to fresh graduates who meet the educational requirements.
- Strong proficiency in mathematics, mapping, GPS, and GIS applications.
- Experience working on large-scale construction, marine, or infrastructure projects (BESIX or Tier-1 contractor experience is an advantage, but not mandatory for junior applicants).
- Practical expertise in operating total stations, GNSS/GPS, echo sounders, multibeam systems, and other advanced surveying instruments (exposure or academic familiarity acceptable for fresh graduates).
- Strong skills in CAD, GIS, and specialized survey or hydrographic processing software.
- Solid understanding of survey control, benchmarks, coordinate systems, and geodetic principles.
- Knowledge of HSE standards, quality procedures, and relevant regulatory or legal requirements.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, charts, and specifications.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data-validation skills.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills; able to coordinate with engineers, project managers, and site teams.
- Ability to work in both marine and land environments and adapt to project logistics.
- Willingness to work in rotational, offshore, or international assignments depending on project needs.
