Responsibilities:Assist in developing and implementing HSE policies, standards, and guidelines specific to venues and exhibitions. Ensure compliance with local regulations, international standards, and organizational policies.To support the Manager and AVP on, updating and maintaining the Rules and Regulations in order to meet the Standards of Health and Safety, accepted Code of Practice and ensure adherence and compliance with Statutory regulations, Federal Laws & Municipality Orders from Dubai Municipality, Standards from Civil Defence, etc.Conduct regular inspections and risk assessments of the venue, events, exhibitions, and facilities to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.To monitor the daily activities of the Events and Exhibitions and advise the correct standards and requirements according to the Standards of Health and Safety.Collaborate with department heads and event organizers to assess HSE requirements and provide guidance on risk mitigation strategies.Deliver HSE training sessions to employees, contractors, and exhibitors. Promote awareness campaigns to enhance understanding and adherence to safety practices.Establish and maintain effective emergency response plans and protocols, including evacuation procedures and first aid provisions.Support the implementation of sustainability initiatives, including waste management, energy efficiency, and environmentally friendly practices during exhibitions and events.Collaborate with local regulatory authorities, including Dubai Municipality (DM), Dubai Civil Defence (DCD), GCAA, DCAA and Dubai Police (DP), to address and ensure compliance with all health and safety requirements and regulations.Track and report on HSE performance metrics, including incident trends, inspection results, and compliance levels. Present findings to senior management and suggest continuous improvement strategies.Plan, organize, and lead emergency drills in accordance with established requirements and the predefined schedule to ensure preparedness and compliance.Overseeing the helipad operations and providing support for daily activities to ensure safety, compliance, and efficient functionality aligning with GCAA and DCAA guidelines and requirements.Required SkillsBachelor’s degree in occupational health, Safety, Environmental Science, or a related fieldNEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent HSE certifications.Strong understanding of local HSE regulations and international standards (e.g., ISO 45001, ISO 14001).7+ years of experience in HSE, preferably in events, exhibitions, or venue management.Computer LiteratePresentation skillsEvents and Exhibition experience preferred but not requiredStrong Reporting and communication Skills (Mandatory: English) Arabic is preferred.Understanding of AutoCAD Drawings.Understand Technical Specifications
