Consultant Pediatric Cardiac Intensivist - Allocation Assist Middle East - Dubai, UAE

• Provide comprehensive critical care for pediatric cardiac patients including pre-operative stabilization and post-operative management following congenital heart surgery
• Manage interventional cardiology cases, heart failure, arrhythmias, cardiomyopathies, and complex cardiac emergencies
• Lead daily PCICU rounds and coordinate multidisciplinary care plans
• Utilize ECMO, mechanical ventilation, and advanced hemodynamic monitoring
• Interpret complex diagnostic data including echocardiography, hemodynamic studies, and advanced imaging
• Provide on-call coverage for pediatric cardiac emergencies
• Contribute to the strategic development and expansion of Pediatric Cardiac ICU services
• Develop and update clinical pathways, protocols, and quality improvement initiatives
• Collaborate closely with pediatric cardiologists, cardiac surgeons, anesthesiologists, perfusionists, and specialized nursing teams
• Mentor and supervise junior physicians, fellows, and critical care nursing staff
• Communicate complex clinical information clearly and compassionately to families
• Support family-centered decision-making, long-term care planning, and post-discharge follow-up
• Participate in clinical research, audits, teaching, CME activities, and conference representation
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with patient safety and governance standards

• Medical degree MD or MBBS from a recognized institution
• Board certification in Pediatric Critical Care, Pediatric Cardiology, or Pediatric Anesthesiology with fellowship training in Pediatric Cardiac Intensive Care
• Minimum 8 to 10 years post-specialization experience including consultant-level practice in a high-volume cardiac center
• Proven expertise in complex congenital heart disease and post-operative cardiac ICU care
• Eligibility for Dubai Health Authority Consultant licensure
• Strong leadership, communication, and multidisciplinary collaboration skills
• Fluency in English, with Arabic language skills considered an advantage
