Company Description, having earned its reputation as a reliable and respected international contractor for more than a half century in the Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) market, continues to create value to its stakeholders by executing complex EPC projects worldwide, in recognition of its superior standards of performance.We have an outstanding record in completing major Energy (Oil & Gas - Power and Water), Marine, Infrastructure and Defense & Security projects around the globe and we pride ourselves on delivering over the years the kind of reliability and trust that the client has the right to expect from a major EPC contractor.Archirodon has been awarded a major Oil & Gas EPC project in UAE, and is currently building a team of experienced Lead Engineers, who will be based in our UAE office and lead the multidiscipline Engineering of the project.Project includes the detailed engineering and design, quality assurance and control, procurement/supply, interface management, construction/installation, pre-commissioning, commissioning/start-up of Hydrocarbon & non-Hydrocarbon systems and management including all works required for the job completion. The main objective of this brownfield project is to increase the production handling capacity by adding a new Production Train and associated facilities at an existing Central Degassing Station and a new gas lift compressor train at another existing Central Degassing Station.Role Summary:We are looking for an experienced Commissioning Engineer to join our team in the UAE.
You will be part of a team of highly knowledgeable professionals, supporting the project from engineering through commissioning, startup, and operation. * Experienced in preparation of documents such as Check sheets, ITR, Red markups, etc. Candidate shall be able to review and interpret project documents such as Datasheets, Single Line Diagrams, Relay Coordination Studies, Power Studies, IO List, Interconnection drawings, Layout drawings, Cause & Effect and Control Philosophy.
  • Field experience in testing of cables, Insulation Resistance test, CT tests, Numerical Relays, Secondary Injection, Primary Injection, Interlock Checks, MV/LV panels, SCMS panel, Generators, Transformer, Capacitor Bank, Interposing Relay Panels and Stability/Sensitivity Tests.
  • Should be able to liaise with other discipline engineers for the successful completion of job.
  • Ability and willingness to work in outdoor weather conditions as experienced in UAE.
What you will need to have:
  • BE or equivalent in Electrical Engineering
  • Proven experience in your respective engineering discipline - Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in Oil & Gas Projects
  • Strong understanding of electrical systems and safety standards
  • Familiar with testing equipment
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  • ADNOC Experience is highly preferred.
