Job Code: 5267Position: Section Head of Digital SolutionsLocation: Anywhere in UAEExperience: Bachelor's degree + 6 years of experience/ Master's degree + 3 years of experience/ PhD without experienceEducation: Major in IT Management, IT Engineering or any other related major.Position: Direct HireLanguage: Arabic, EnglishAdditional Benefits: Health InsuranceFor Emiratization ProgramJob Objective: Overseeing the Client's digital solutions portfolio by preparing a roadmap for advanced technologies, designing digital services, channels, and customer experience, and reviewing technical feasibility and risks, ensuring that initiatives align with the digital strategy and raise adoption and quality levels.Responsibilities:
  • Leading the development of the department's strategic goals and plans in line with the Client's strategy and vision. Supervising the implementation of plans and achieving the department's approved strategic goals. Directing the preparation of the department's budget, supervising its allocation, and controlling its expenditures to ensure efficient use.
  • Review the department’s periodic performance reports and provide the necessary recommendations and guidance to improve results.
  • Monitor key performance indicators for the department's operations and staff, and suggest improvements to support the client's strategic objectives.
  • Identify the department's human resource needs and ensure the availability of the required competencies to achieve goals and plans. Provide ongoing professional support through effective performance evaluation and constructive feedback. Promote a culture of collaboration, innovation, and design thinking, and work to improve processes and services within the department
Institutional Responsibilities
  • Manage department operations and monitor their implementation in line with the governance framework and approved policies and procedures.
  • Ensure the department's compliance with the Risk Management Department's guidelines and the Client's approved institutional excellence requirements.
  • Prepare the required periodic reports internally and externally, ensuring their accuracy and relevance to relevant stakeholders.
  • Lead the implementation of change management initiatives within the department and oversee the achievement of their outcomes.
  • Identify the department's technical needs and work to meet them by adopting effective and cost-effective solutions.
  • Study opportunities to adopt innovative solutions and ideas and lead their implementation to address challenges and improve department performance.
  • Proactively identify professional development opportunities and enhance technical capabilities in line with the department's work requirements.
Job responsibilities:
  • Strategic planning for solutions and channels.
  • Managing digital initiatives and projects from the planning stage to implementation, and periodically monitoring their performance to ensure the achievement of set objectives and the efficiency of digital solutions.
  • Preparing an integrated roadmap for digital channels and advanced technologies in line with the Client's digital strategy.
Relevant sectors & Usage:
  • Reviewing feasibility studies for digital projects in coordination with proposing development initiatives and a work map to improve customer experience and increase adoption.
  • Designing and developing services and customer experience.
  • Designing digital services, channels, and systems, including user experience and ease of use standards.
  • Identify and document stakeholder requirements and develop digital solutions to meet technical requirements within the specified timeframe.
  • Apply quality engineering and innovation principles in the design of systems and services and contribute to enhancing the integration of technical design to take into account current and future customer needs.
  • Governance, Risk, and Technical Integration
  • Studying the best global practices and standards in corporate architecture, and proposing innovative methods.
  • To enhance the alignment of digital solutions with the Client's strategic directions. Preparing and managing a technical risk register in coordination with relevant authorities.
  • Planning and designing digital services, channels, and integrated system solutions, and monitoring the implementation of approved technical policies and standards to ensure quality performance and sustainability of solutions.
  • Performing any other tasks within the scope of the department’s work or assigned by the department manager.
