Job DescriptionOne full-time Research Associate position is available in a project aiming at developing efficient multiple-precision algorithms for computation of special functions of complex arguments for Applied Scientists. We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled researcher with a strong background in computational physics, applied mathematics, and numerical algorithms. The ideal candidate should have a demonstrated ability to translate advanced mathematical concepts into efficient computational methods. Duties and Responsibilities: Conduct original research under the supervision of the Principal Investigator (PI), focusing on the design and implementation of multiple-precision computational algorithms for special functions. Develop, optimize, and validate computer codes for large-scale scientific computation. Perform rigorous mathematical and numerical analysis to ensure accuracy, stability, and efficiency of algorithms. Prepare and submit high-quality manuscripts reporting research findings to international, peer-reviewed journals. Assist the PI with project-related research activities, including documentation, presentations, and dissemination of results.Minimum QualificationAdvanced knowledge of applied mathematics, numerical analysis, and computational physics. Proven experience in developing, analyzing, and implementing robust and efficient numerical algorithms. Proficiency in one or more of the scientific programming languages (e.g., Fortran 90/95, C++, Matlab, Python, Julia, etc.), with the ability to write optimized and well-documented codes.Preferred Qualification
