Position: JPC - 4276 - Food Products Purchasing ManagerLocation: Abu DhabiDuration :2 YearsHe Must have experience working on food products with the highest demands in the market like ( Oils, all kind of spices, Food sauces….)A Purchasing Manager is responsible for evaluating suppliers and negotiating to achieve the lowest price for high-quality goods. This role may have the following duties and responsibilities:
  • Planning and overseeing the work of Buyers and Purchasing Agents
  • Experience leading a team & Discussing contracts
  • Establishing guidelines on how often the company gets price quotes for items, the number of bids to accept and which vendors to consider
  • Evaluating quality, price, reliability, technical support and availability of goods and services
  • Interpersonal skills such as teamwork and good listening skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to manage time and organize
Required skills and qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience as a purchasing manager within background of the global markets like India & china..
  • In-depth knowledge of procurement strategies, and best practices.
  • Strong skills in budgeting, cost optimisation and negotiation techniques.
  • An analytical mind with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams #LI-KS1.
