Position: JPC - 4276 - Food Products Purchasing ManagerLocation: Abu DhabiDuration :2 YearsHe Must have experience working on food products with the highest demands in the market like ( Oils, all kind of spices, Food sauces….)A Purchasing Manager is responsible for evaluating suppliers and negotiating to achieve the lowest price for high-quality goods. This role may have the following duties and responsibilities:
Planning and overseeing the work of Buyers and Purchasing Agents
Experience leading a team & Discussing contracts
Establishing guidelines on how often the company gets price quotes for items, the number of bids to accept and which vendors to consider
Evaluating quality, price, reliability, technical support and availability of goods and services
Interpersonal skills such as teamwork and good listening skills
Excellent communication skills
Ability to manage time and organize
Required skills and qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a related field.
5+ years of experience as a purchasing manager within background of the global markets like India & china..
In-depth knowledge of procurement strategies, and best practices.
Strong skills in budgeting, cost optimisation and negotiation techniques.
An analytical mind with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams #LI-KS1.
