The Heavy Vehicle Driver plays a critical role in logistics and fleet operations by ensuring safe transport of goods and vehicles. The role contributes to operational efficiency by maintaining delivery schedules, vehicle condition, and communication with dispatch teams.Key Responsibilities
- Drive heavy vehicles including car carriers, flatbeds, and trailers for transport operations
- Assist in loading and unloading cargo safely and efficiently
- Maintain communication with planning teams for dispatch instructions and delivery updates
- Inspect vehicles before and after trips to ensure safety and compliance
- Maintain fuel efficiency and report consumption accurately
- Submit trip sheets, fuel receipts, and required documentation
- Support driving of light cargo vehicles when required
- Follow safety procedures and company policies during all operations
- Valid UAE driving license for category 3 and 4
- Minimum 2 years of experience operating heavy goods vehicles
- Experience with car carriers, flatbeds, low beds, or similar transport vehicles
- Ability to read, write, and understand English
- Basic Arabic communication skills are an advantage
- Ability to work in large yard environments and follow operational procedures
