  • Provide specialist care for critically ill patients within intensive care units including ventilator management, hemodynamic monitoring, and advanced life support
  • Diagnose and manage complex pulmonary diseases including acute respiratory distress syndrome, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, interstitial lung disease, and pulmonary hypertension
  • Perform advanced diagnostic and interventional procedures such as bronchoscopy, EBUS, thoracentesis, and central line placement
  • Lead multidisciplinary ICU rounds and coordinate treatment plans with specialists in cardiology, anesthesiology, infectious disease, and emergency medicine
  • Monitor critically ill patients using advanced critical care technologies and evidence-based treatment protocols
  • Participate in development of clinical protocols, patient safety initiatives, and quality improvement programs
  • Mentor junior physicians, residents, and medical staff within intensive care and pulmonary medicine departments
  • Support continuing medical education programs and academic teaching activities within the hospital
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure adherence to regulatory and healthcare quality standards
Ideal Profile
  • Medical degree such as MD or MBBS from an accredited institution
  • American Board of Internal Medicine certification with subspecialty certification in Pulmonary Disease and Critical Care Medicine
  • Minimum five to seven years of post-board certification clinical experience within tertiary or academic healthcare institutions
  • Strong expertise in ICU management, pulmonary diagnostics, and advanced critical care procedures
  • Eligibility for medical licensing within the UAE healthcare regulatory framework
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and multidisciplinary collaboration skills
  • Fluency in English with Arabic language skills considered beneficial
