The Key Objectives for This Role Are:
  • Build a strong foundation in electrical engineering design and project execution
  • Develop technical competence through structured learning and on-the-job experience
  • Support safe, high-quality and timely project delivery
  • Progress toward independent engineering responsibility over time
Responsibilities:Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the preparation of electrical engineering deliverables including calculations, drawings, datasheets and specifications
  • Support electrical studies such as load lists, cable sizing, earthing, lighting and power distribution
  • Work closely with senior engineers to understand project requirements and execution strategies
  • Coordinate with other engineering disciplines to ensure integrated design solutions
  • Participate in design reviews, workshops and risk assessments as required
  • Ensure compliance with applicable international codes, standards and client specifications
  • Actively engage in graduate development, mentoring and training activities

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
  • UAE National (Emirati)
  • Recent graduate or up to 2 years of relevant experience
  • Fundamental knowledge of electrical engineering principles
  • Strong communication, teamwork and interpersonal skills
  • Motivation to learn and develop within a professional engineering environment
  • Ability to work full time from Wood's Abu Dhabi office
