Job Title: Bar SupervisorJob Summary:The Bar Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily bar operations, ensuring high-quality beverage service, managing bar staff, and maintaining excellent customer satisfaction. This role involves supervising service standards, controlling inventory, and ensuring compliance with safety and hygiene regulations.Key Responsibilities:Bar Operations:
  • Supervise daily bar activities and ensure smooth operations
  • Oversee preparation and service of beverages according to standards
  • Ensure cleanliness and organization of the bar area
  • Monitor customer service quality and resolve guest issues promptly
Staff Supervision:
  • Train, guide, and supervise bartenders and bar assistants
  • Prepare staff schedules and manage shifts
  • Ensure staff follow company policies and service standards
  • Conduct performance monitoring and provide feedback
Inventory & Stock Control:
  • Monitor stock levels of beverages, garnishes, and supplies
  • Place orders and coordinate with suppliers
  • Conduct regular inventory checks and minimize wastage
  • Ensure proper storage of all bar items
Financial & Reporting Duties:
  • Assist in controlling costs and maximizing profitability
  • Handle cash management and daily sales reporting
  • Monitor bar expenses and maintain records
Health & Safety Compliance:
  • Ensure adherence to hygiene, safety, and legal regulations
  • Maintain cleanliness standards and proper sanitation
  • Ensure responsible service practices are followed
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Bar Supervisor or senior bartender
  • Strong knowledge of beverages, cocktails, and bar operations
  • Leadership and team management skills
  • Good communication and customer service abilities
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Hospitality or bartending certification
  • Experience in hotels, restaurants, or lounges
  • Knowledge of inventory systems and POS software
