As a Relationship Officer, you will manage a portfolio of 700-800 customers while actively cross-selling bank products including accounts, trade solutions, FX, and bancassurance. This role requires strong interpersonal skills and a service-driven mindset to ensure consistent customer satisfaction, adherence to compliance, and portfolio growth.Key Responsibilities
- Manage a large portfolio of primarily non-borrowing customers
- Meet monthly and annual KPIs across revenue, cross-sell, and account activations
- Promote bank products and services through targeted cross-selling
- Refer qualified customers to relevant business units for advanced banking solutions
- Drive new-to-bank acquisition through referrals and lead generation
- Conduct regular KYC updates and compliance checks for all managed accounts
- Ensure excellent customer service during onboarding and throughout the relationship lifecycle
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date sales and performance reports
- Adhere strictly to internal sales, governance, and compliance processes
- Stay up to date with competitor offerings and suggest product/process enhancements
- Maintain proper account conduct, manage overdrafts and escalate issues as needed
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field
- 1-2 years' experience in banking, preferably in customer-facing roles
- Experience in commercial banking or relationship management is a plus
- Fluent in English and Arabic
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills
- Sales-driven with attention to compliance and product knowledge
- Familiar with KYC, SOPs, and governance protocols in banking
- Exposure to a large and dynamic customer portfolio
