- Lead the design team in developing and refining the project vision, goals, and design objectives.
- Collaborate closely with architects, engineers, consultants, and stakeholders to ensure alignment of design intent with project requirements.
- Oversee the preparation and review of design concepts, drawings, specifications, and other deliverables to meet quality and regulatory standards.
- Manage the design development process, including design coordination, value engineering, and resolution of technical issues.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to junior design staff, fostering a culture of collaboration, creativity, and excellence.
- Liaise with clients, contractors, and regulatory authorities to address design-related queries, modifications, and approvals.
- Monitor project progress, budgets, and schedules, and proactively identify and mitigate risks to ensure timely and successful project delivery.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all design-related matters, maintaining open communication channels and fostering positive relationships with stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Circa 10 years of experience in design management, at least 3 years working in the UAE for Consultancies.
- Extensive knowledge of design principles, construction techniques, and building codes.
- Strong leadership and project management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, etc.
- Previous experience working on projects in the Middle East region, particularly in Abu Dhabi, is highly desirable.
