- Assist the Operations Manager in coordinating and managing daily delivery activities to avoid incurring costs to the client and/or TG.
- Monitor and manage delivery schedules to ensure timely dispatch and delivery of goods.
- Oversee the allocation and use of delivery resources, including vehicles and personnel.
- Assist in managing the budget for the delivery operations.
- Oversee the maintenance and management of delivery vehicles and equipment.
- Ensure adequate staffing levels to meet delivery demands, and ensure accurate staff allocations accordingly.
- Address and resolve customer complaints and delivery-related issues promptly and effectively.
- Maintain strong communication with customers to provide updates on delivery status and handle inquiries.
- Gather and analyze customer feedback to identify areas for service improvement.
- Consistently achieve and exceed the delivery services network targets.
- Work closely with other departments, such as Customer Service, Sales, and Warehouse, to ensure coordinated operations.
- Participate in cross-functional meetings to discuss and resolve operational challenges.
- Support the Operations Manager in implementing company-wide initiatives and strategies.
- Supervise delivery personnel, including drivers and courier dispatchers, ensuring adherence to operational guidelines.
- Organize and provide training and support to new and existing delivery staff.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback to team members.
- Prepare and submit regular reports on delivery performance, operational issues, and team activities.
- Maintain detailed records of deliveries, including route information, delivery times, and any incidents.
- Assist the Operations Manager in analyzing data to inform strategic decisions.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations and company policies.
- Conduct regular safety training and briefings for delivery personnel.
- Maintain accurate records of incidents, accidents, and compliance issues.
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in logistics or delivery operations.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and organizational abilities.
- Proficiency in logistics software and technology.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Valid UAE driving license.
