This is not simply our job, it's our passion.About the RoleCandidate will be responsible for the day-to-day general operations of the Water Quality department. Ensure suitable measures are in place to ensure minimal disruption to the hotel's operations and maintain the highest standards are maintained.Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Leadership of the team of water quality Technician, Team Leaders and Ass. Managers to ensure the treatment, distribution and daily operations of the Water Quality department are maintained.
- Ensure that periodic testing & analysis are conducted to ensure the right quality water supply for all swimming Pools, sky Court Pools and water features and fountains.
- Institute plant policies and procedures.
- Direct training programs & orientation processes.
- Source suitable applicants, (recruitment) to maintain current head count.
- Ensure that the plant and its operators comply with the requisite health standards by regularly testing the water supply and keeping meticulous records.
- Responsible for maintaining a safe work environment and ensuring all equipment is in proper working conditions.
- Communication between the water quality team, its stakeholders and customers is maintained with a focus on collaboration.
- Critical Thinking - Being able to provide solutions to technical problems in the operations or related to compliance or safety.
- Finance - Understanding budgets related to the operations and capex projects.
- Project Manage large scale projects, (exceeding 250,000USD) related to Water Quality responsibilities on budget and on schedule.
- Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Mechanical /Electrical engineering with minimum 5- 10 years' experience in similar position in either LSS or large-scale Waterpark / Resorts / FM
- Experience in either Electrical, Mechanical or Plumbing trade, (and commitment to strengthen understanding in other trades)
- Certified Pool Operator Certificate, (NSPF) or ability to obtain within the first 6months of employment.
- Experienced with 5 Star Hotels, Aqua Parks or Recreational Complexes etc.
- Demonstrable management skills.
- Fluent English
