Why does the job exist?
To provide robust technical, customer-focussed project management support to projects. Responsible for managing all aspects of assigned projects from concept to completion including scheduling, budgeting, specifying, technical and quality assurance, risk management and seamless communication with all stakeholders.Reports directly to Projects/Production/QAQC Leader

- Project Management – manages every aspect of assigned projects through-out life cycle ensuring projects complete successfully within scope, on time and to budget
- Q.A / Q.C – implements and enforces standards, conducts inspections to ensure compliance and collaborates with colleagues to address any quality concerns
- Technical – provides technical guidance and support to project team and maintains technical and industry knowledge
- Technical – checks and approves supplier’s orders and engineering drawings and prepares technical sheets and fabrication and other drawings for clients and suppliers
- Risk management – identifies potential risks and leads on mitigation and management strategies whilst always ensuring compliance with safety/quality regulations/standards
- Communication - maintains positive relationships and consistent and regular communication with project team, clients, suppliers and other third parties
- Adherence to all legal requirements, to the Company Quality and Environmental Management Systems (QMS/EMS), the H & S policy, local regulations and procedures
- Other ad-hoc duties commensurate with the grade of the role.
Technical/Professional Experience:
- Demonstrable experience of having worked in a similar previous role in manufacturing or similar
- Demonstrable technical mechanical engineering ability and project management know-how
- Preferably a Bachelor’s Degree in mechanical/electrical engineering
- Proven 5 yrs+ experience required in crane installation work.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification advantageous
- Strong understanding of construction-related QA/QC processes
- Good understanding of welding and the relevant standards
- I.S. competencies in M/S Office suite
- Good grasp of English language (both verbal & written)
- Excellent communication, influencing and negotiation skills
- Problem-solver with good decision-making ability
- Flexibility and adaptability to change
- UAE driving licence
- Willingness to work additional and sometimes unsociable hours
