- Assess and diagnose sports-related injuries and conditions.
- Develop comprehensive treatment and rehabilitation plans tailored to individual patient needs.
- Work closely with physical therapists, athletic trainers, and other healthcare providers to coordinate care.
- Educate patients and coaching staff on injury prevention and performance enhancement techniques.
- Perform therapeutic interventions such as joint injections and musculoskeletal evaluations.
- Stay updated with current research and advancements in sports medicine.
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records.
- Participate in community outreach and wellness programs.
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
- Completed residency or fellowship in Sports Medicine or a related specialty.
- Board certification or eligibility in Sports Medicine preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years experience in sports medicine clinical practice.
- Strong knowledge of musculoskeletal anatomy and injury management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Commitment to continued education in sports medicine advancements.
