Senior Cloud Security Engineer AWS and GCP - talabat - Dubai UAE

• Implement and maintain enterprise cloud security controls across AWS and Google Cloud environments.
• Enforce security baselines for accounts, networking configurations, identity access management, encryption, and system logging.
• Support secure cloud landing zones and implement guardrails aligned with corporate security architecture.
• Design and operate scalable identity and access management models including role-based access and federated authentication.
• Enforce least privilege access policies through periodic reviews and remediation workflows.
• Operate and optimize cloud security tools including CSPM, CIEM, CWPP, and native cloud security services.
• Drive remediation of security vulnerabilities through automation, infrastructure as code, and security pipelines.
• Ensure effective cloud audit logging, telemetry monitoring, and alerting for security event detection.
• Support incident investigation and response processes for cloud-related security incidents.
• Conduct root cause analysis and contribute to improvements in security controls and operational procedures.
• Participate in risk assessments and threat modeling for cloud services and enterprise platforms.
• Support compliance initiatives including PCI DSS, NIST, and SOC 2 by mapping regulatory requirements to cloud controls.
• Review cloud architecture and infrastructure changes to identify security risks and recommend mitigation strategies.

• Seven or more years of experience in security engineering with strong expertise in cloud security.
• Hands-on experience securing large AWS and Google Cloud multi-account environments.
• Strong knowledge of identity and access management, cloud networking security, and access governance frameworks.
• Experience implementing centralized logging, monitoring systems, and audit trails within cloud platforms.
• Strong understanding of encryption technologies, key management systems, and cloud data protection strategies.
• Experience working with infrastructure as code tools and automation frameworks.
• Familiarity with enterprise security standards, incident response procedures, and audit requirements.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with globally distributed engineering teams.
