We are working with a European family based in the Jumeirah Islands, Dubai, to assist in the appointment of a full-time Family Chef. The family of four, with two children aged 4 and 12, are seeking a health-conscious and organised chef to prepare fresh, balanced and nutritious meals that form an essential part of their daily wellbeing and lifestyle.The Chef will report directly to the Family Manager and work within a fully staffed household. The successful candidate will take full responsibility for menu planning, sourcing high-quality ingredients and maintaining an exceptionally organised kitchen, whilst respecting the family's values of privacy, calm and a strict no-stress environment.This is a live-out position and applicants must already be based in Dubai. A European passport is required. Travel with the family throughout the year would be advantageous, though not essential.Key Responsibilities

Prepare healthy, balanced meals for a family of four, including lunchboxes and snacks
Follow pre-approved weekly meal plans in line with guidance from the family's nutritionist
Design and present customised meal plans for approval when appropriate
Source fresh, organic and high-quality ingredients from reputable Dubai suppliers
Conduct grocery shopping several times per week to ensure optimal freshness
Monitor and manage kitchen inventory, ensuring minimal waste and correct stock levels
Prepare a variety of vegetarian, gluten-free, fish and meat-based dishes
Ensure no fried food is prepared and adhere strictly to household dietary guidelines
Maintain impeccable cleanliness and organisation within the kitchen at all times
Label, store and manage leftovers appropriately
Prepare simple family-style meals as well as more refined dishes for special occasions
Cater for visiting family and friends when required
Communicate efficiently with the family and Family Manager regarding menus and requirements
Collaborate respectfully with other household staff members

Ideal Candidate

Previous experience as a Private or Family Chef within a UHNW household
European passport holder
Based in Dubai and available to start promptly
Strong knowledge of Italian cuisine is advantageous
Experienced in healthy, nutrition-led cooking
Comfortable following structured meal plans and professional guidance
Organised with a strong knowledge of food sourcing within Dubai
Calm, discreet and aligned with a peaceful household environment
Flexible and open to occasional international travel

Package

Working schedule: 5 days per week, 8 hours per day (plus 1-hour lunch break)
Visa and health insurance provided
22 working days annual leave
Live-out position
Annual flight allowance: AED 3,000 (after one year of service)
Salary: AED 25,000 - AED 30,000 per month (DOE)
