- Develop, plan, and schedule preventive and corrective maintenance activities to ensure optimal asset performance and minimal downtime.
- Create detailed job plans, including scope of work, manpower requirements, materials, tools, safety requirements, and estimated durations.
- Maintain and manage maintenance plans, task lists, and asset data within SAP/ERP systems, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Generate and control work orders, ensuring proper prioritization, scheduling, and closure in line with maintenance strategies.
- Coordinate with maintenance teams, operations, and contractors to ensure planned activities are executed efficiently and on schedule.
- Analyze equipment history and maintenance data to improve preventive maintenance strategies and reliability.
- Identify and plan required spare parts, materials, and resources in advance to support maintenance execution.
- Work closely with procurement and stores to ensure timely availability of materials and critical spare parts.
- Monitor backlog, schedule compliance, and maintenance KPIs, recommending improvements where necessary.
- Support shutdown and turnaround planning, including detailed scheduling and resource allocation.
- Review and optimize maintenance procedures, job plans, and frequencies based on performance and failure trends
- Prepare technical scopes of work and support contractor planning and mobilization.
- Ensure all maintenance plans comply with safety regulations, permit-to-work (PTW) requirements, and company procedures.
- Support maintenance-related projects by planning activities, timelines, and resource requirements.
- Prepare reports and dashboards on maintenance performance, KPIs, and planning effectiveness.
- Continuously improve planning processes, tools, and methodologies to enhance efficiency and cost-effectiveness
- Ensure all planned activities incorporate safety requirements and risk controls.
- Comply with occupational safety and health (OSH) procedures and standards.
- Support risk assessments and ensure hazards are identified during planning stages.
- Promote safe work practices through proper planning and coordination
- Experience: 3-6 years in maintenance and engineering roles, leading projects and maintaining equipment in high-safety environments
- Industry Knowledge: Experience in equipment engineering and maintenance planning in environments such as power plants and machinery operations
- Education: Certification in Electrical, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering
- Communication: Fluent in Arabic and English
