- Strong knowledge of surveying techniques, geospatial control, and construction tolerances
- Proficient in AutoCAD / Civil 3D and survey data processing
- Experience with total stations, GNSS/GPS, and laser scanning equipment
- Solid understanding of QA/QC and technical drawings
- Knowledge of UAE authority requirements (KEZAD, DMT, Civil Defense)
- Strong coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Degree/Diploma in Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years of experience (3+ in the UAE)
- Experience with general contractors on construction projects
- Fluent in English
- UAE driving license required; car and Abu Dhabi accommodation preferred
In this role, you will be responsible for managing all surveying and geospatial control activities on-site, ensuring the accurate positioning, alignment, and verification of civil, structural, architectural, and MEP works throughout the entire project lifecycle - from early construction stages to final handover.Role & Responsibilities:
Surveying & Site Layout
- Establish and maintain horizontal and vertical control points
- Perform setting-out works across all disciplines
- Ensure execution aligns with approved IFC drawings and tolerances
- Conduct daily surveying activities for all construction stages
- Verify structural and MEP elements for alignment, levels, and positioning
- Check subcontractors' work and issue NCRs where required
- Monitor settlement, movement, and structural alignment
- Attend inspections with consultants and authorities
- Validate positioning of mechanical, electrical, and firefighting systems
- Ensure accuracy prior to fixing, grouting, or installation completion
- Support commissioning by confirming final coordinates
- Verify dimensions, slopes, and levels required for testing
- Check drainage and system alignment
- Provide measurement reports for testing activities
- Prepare complete as-built drawings and survey data
- Document final coordinates, elevations, and utilities
- Produce AutoCAD drawings and digital files (CAD/GIS formats)
- Coordinate submissions with consultants and authorities
- Work closely with engineers, QA/QC teams, and subcontractors
- Provide daily updates and technical guidance
- Participate in project meetings and inspections
- Operate and maintain all survey instruments
- Ensure calibration, accuracy, and proper storage
- Maintain logs and survey records
