Join us.Job DescriptionWe are seeking a talented and experienced Resident Engineer - Landscape with a Bachelor's Degree in Architecture to join our team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing landscape design and implementation projects, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and sustainability in the unique environmental conditions of the region.

Develop and review landscape design plans, ensuring they align with project requirements and local regulations
Collaborate with architects, civil engineers, and other professionals to integrate landscape designs into overall project plans
Oversee the implementation of landscape projects, including site preparation, planting, and irrigation system installation
Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with design specifications and quality standards
Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources effectively
Provide technical guidance and support to the landscape construction team
Develop and maintain relationships with clients, contractors, and local authorities
Stay updated on innovative landscaping techniques and sustainable practices suitable for the Dubai climate
Prepare detailed reports and presentations on project progress and outcomes

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a related field
Minimum 15 years of experience in landscape engineering or a related field
Proficiency in landscape design software, including AutoCAD and SketchUp
Strong knowledge of irrigation systems and sustainable landscaping practices
Excellent project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
In-depth understanding of local environmental conditions and regulations in Dubai and the UAE
Knowledge of native and adaptive plant species suitable for the region
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
