- Manage the end-to-end procurement process, including preparing purchase orders, tracking deliveries, and maintaining accurate records
- Communicate and negotiate with vendors to obtain competitive quotes and resolve any discrepancies
- Monitor inventory levels and initiate reorder processes to maintain optimal stock levels
- Collaborate with internal departments to gather and process purchase requisitions
- Evaluate and select suppliers based on price, quality, and delivery time
- Prepare and analyze purchasing reports to identify cost-saving opportunities
- Develop and implement purchasing policies and procedures to improve efficiency
- Manage contracts and ensure compliance with company policies and local regulations
- Stay informed about market trends and identify opportunities for process improvements
- Coordinate with logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of goods
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (preferred)
- 5 -10 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or a related field in Construction or Inrastrucrure Industry in the UAE
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced Excel skills
- Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Exceptional time management and organizational skills
- In-depth knowledge of purchasing processes and best practices
- Familiarity with supplier management and vendor relationships
- Negotiation skills and ability to secure favorable terms
- Understanding of supply chain management principles
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with international trade regulations and local business practices in the UAE
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Adaptability to changing market conditions and business needs
