Headquartered in Singapore, SJ is a diverse collective of experts delivering sustainable and high-impact solutions across the built environment.The RoleThe Design Engineer will support geotechnical delivery across secured Dubai projects, including Project M1 and QIC MBS Stadium. The role focuses on geotechnical analysis, reporting, and design development under senior supervision, ensuring timely and technically sound project outputs within a high-utilisation team environment.Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare geotechnical analyses, calculations, and technical reports.
  • Support foundation, shoring, and earthworks design activities.
  • Coordinate with senior engineers on technical inputs and design revisions.
  • Respond to technical queries and support construction-stage matters.
  • Assist with data interpretation and production of project documentation.
Key Qualifications and Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering.
  • Experience in geotechnical analysis and reporting.
  • Exposure to foundation and earthworks design.
  • Experience working within multidisciplinary project teams.
Key Knowledge and Skills
  • Strong understanding of geotechnical engineering principles.
  • Ability to prepare clear and accurate technical documentation.
  • Analytical and problem-solving capability.
  • Good coordination and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively under programme and delivery pressures.
