Dubai, UAEA well-established commodities business in Dubai is seeking a Trade Finance & Deal Structuring Senior Manager to support its refined oil products trading operations.This role sits at the intersection of commercial, operations, and banking relationships - ensuring trade finance transactions are structured efficiently, documented accurately, and executed with strong risk discipline.The RoleYou will take ownership of structuring and executing complex trade finance transactions across physical trading flows.Key Responsibilities:Structure and execute trade finance transactions across imports/exports, including:
Letters of Credit (LCs), SBLCs/Bank Guarantees, receivables finance, supply chain finance, prepayments, and inventory-based solutionsLead deal structuring aligned with contract terms and logistics realities (Incoterms, title transfer, inspection and shipment documentation, demurrage/storage considerations)Coordinate approvals and documentation with banks, legal counsel, and internal stakeholdersPrepare credit notes and investment memos to support decision-makingMonitor exposures, facility utilisation, maturities, and rolloversMaintain strong controls around discrepancies, documentation quality, and exceptionsSupport working capital planning and cash forecasting linked to cargo schedulesRequirements7+ years' experience in trade finance, structured trade, commodity finance, treasury, corporate banking, or trading-house financeStrong exposure to oil and refined productsHands-on experience negotiating and executing bank-funded transactions and credit facilitiesStrong knowledge of UCP 600, URDG, and ISP rulesComfortable working with shipping and inspection documentationStrong financial modelling, analytical, and memo-writing skillsHigh ownership, attention to detail, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced trading environmentNice to HaveExperience with borrowing base or inventory finance structuresUnderstanding of benchmark-linked pricing and hedging settlement mechanicsProfessional qualification (ACCA / ACA / CIMA / CFA)FOR MORE INFORMATIONCONTACT Elle Appleby
