Job Role: - Kong Administrator & DeveloperJob location: - Abu Dhabi, UAEExperience: - 4-10 YearsJob Roles & Responsibilities: -

Design, develop, and configure Kong entities (services, routes, plugins, caching, API management).
Create and customize Kong plugins; implement request/response transformations.
Develop custom Lua scripts for extended functionality.
Integrate Kong with APIs, backend systems, and DevOps pipelines.
Manage API security authentication, authorization, rate limiting, RBAC.
Implement traffic management (load balancing, caching).
Monitor and troubleshoot Kong performance issues.
Maintain API documentation via Kong Developer Portal.
Stay updated on new Kong features and best practices.

Job Skills & Requirements: -

Strong experience in Kong administration and development.
Solid understanding of API design (REST, OpenAPI) and microservices architecture.
Proficient in Lua and Python scripting.
Knowledge of DevOps tools (Git, CI/CD).
Experience with Kubernetes, Kong Ingress, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
Familiarity with API security (OAuth, OIDC, Auth0) and testing tools (Postman, JMeter, Insomnia).
Strong problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills.
Bachelor s degree in computer science or related field.
Kong certification preferred.
