- Lead and manage assigned complex skid package projects to improve profitability and ensure timely completion.
- Deputize to manage the project management team, providing guidance, support, and mentorship in the absence of project director
- Develop and implement project management strategies, policies, and procedures.
- Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of all projects within the department.
- Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
- Coordinate with senior management and stakeholders to define project objectives and deliverables.
- Monitor project progress and performance, identifying and addressing any issues or risks.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the project management team.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and other stakeholders.
- Prepare and present regular reports on project status, performance, and outcomes to senior management.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and best practices
- Willingness to travel to different geographies for business needs.
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent
- 15+ years of project management experience, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role managing smaller teams.
- Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale projects.
- Sound technical and commercial knowledge of mechanical packages
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to think strategically and make sound decisions.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Escalation management of team member’s projects with customers
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent if available
- Microsoft Office Suite.
- Administration and Management — Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modeling, leadership technique, production methods, and coordination of people and resources.
