This role is responsible for leading a personal loan sales team within the consumer banking division, ensuring revenue targets are achieved while maintaining compliance with credit policies and service standards. It focuses on building strong client relationships, driving cross-selling opportunities, and improving overall sales efficiency through structured processes.Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team to achieve or exceed monthly personal loan sales targets
- Plan, organize, and monitor team activities using CRM systems and digital tools
- Identify new business opportunities and collaborate with employee banking channels
- Ensure compliance with fraud prevention, credit policies, and internal guidelines
- Strengthen customer relationship management using feedback and service metrics
- Track sales performance, reporting systems, and reduce attrition within the team
- Conduct training and development initiatives to enhance team performance
- Coordinate with internal departments and branch networks to drive business growth
- Support promotional campaigns, roadshows, and sales activities to boost visibility
- Ensure all documentation submitted by the team is accurate and complete
- Monitor follow-ups on pending documentation and deferrals
- Provide weekly and monthly MIS reports on sales performance and service quality
- Share customer insights and market feedback to improve product offerings
- Identify cross-selling opportunities across different banking products
- Motivate team members and drive performance through structured recognition
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification
- 3 to 5 years of experience in retail banking sales or financial services
- Experience in managing sales teams within banking preferred
- Strong knowledge of personal loans and retail banking products
- Ability to handle sales targets and competitive market environments
